I have received first-hand experience in social media and digital marketing through interning at New York City Ballet in the Membership Department, and interning at Metamorphosis Agency as a marketing intern.
At New York City Ballet I was given the opportunity to collaborate with the marketing department by creating mass emails to send out to members of NYCB reminding them their membership was expiring. I was able to use WordFly to create headlines, add content, and choose photos for these emails. You can view an example here:
Along with working on marketing emails, I also connected with patrons via phone and email to answer complex membership questions. To answer these questions and input donations given by members I used Tessitura, a database used by New York City Ballet and other arts organizations. Tessitura helped me complete daily tasks in the workplace and strengthened my technology skills by allowing to me enhance my database management skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
At Metamorphosis Agency, my main task was to draft and post social media content for the Agency and its clients through Canva and ContentCal. My creative content was posted to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business. You can view a few posts here:
